This week intox productions signed off with legendary former WKTU radio personality and renowned remix artist Johnny Rocks. Over the past 20 years Johnny has worked with such artists as Madonna, Cher, Celine Dion and Mariah Carey. The project will feature a five page flash based website with mobile accessibility, bio, photo gallery, remixs and Johnny’s new releases. More to follow.
Last month intox completed an html/php website for Dumont Insurance Corp., with a clean, streamlined design and navigation. To breathe life into the primarily functional design, intox created an animated flash header with alternate html content for search engine indexing. “This technique gives us the ability to bring some cool design concepts to a project that needs to be minimal for internet search-ability, we can accomplish what we need to from a design and development standpoint for SEO and still meet our client’s needs and expectations,” said Chris Miale.
Last month Spot On Productions released a new public service announcement (PSA) with an on-going campaign from Special Olympics and Best Buddies called “Spread the Word to End the Word®” which seeks to eliminate the derogatory use of the word “retard(ed)” and promote the inclusion and acceptance of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
This hard-hitting :30 television PSA called “Not Acceptable” was directed by Spot On’s Frank Mosca and gives voice to a variety of minorities, each of whom expresses that the offensive, targeted slurs that are, or once were, commonly directed toward them are not acceptable.
